How is RESCUE® Remedy Made?

Produced at the former home of Dr Bach, to his traditional methods.

The flower essences used in RESCUE® Remedy are still made at Dr Bach's former home in Mount Vernon, Oxfordshire using methods developed by Dr Bach over 70 years ago. They are then sent to the Nelsons factory in Wimbledon, London where they are diluted and bottled according to the highest quality standards.

The flower essences in RESCUE® Remedy have been chosen according to Dr Bach's ideals of supporting emotional well-being and care for everyday life. These five flower essences were specifically selected by Dr Bach when considering the five common negative states of mind that many people experience on a daily basis as part of their busy lives.

Rock Rose for Fearlessness

It is easy to feel overwhelmed by scary situations, but it is possible to overcome your fear and embrace them with courage. Dr Bach identified the positive potential of Rock Rose as courage and presence of mind.

Impatiens for Patience

While there is sometimes no way of avoiding irritating problems, you can choose to deal with them in a patient manner. You don’t need to be frustrated by the slow pace of people or things. The positive potential of Impatiens is less hastiness in both thought and action.

Clematis for Focus

When you feel out of touch with things, pull your head out of the clouds and enjoy the beauty of the world around you. The positive potential of Clematis is the ability to take a lively interest in your current environment.

Star of Bethlehem for Comfort

Don’t let the shock of a bad experience hold you back. Take a deep breath, try to balance your emotions and deal with the situation. The positive potential of the Star of Bethlehem is the ability to be strong.

Cherry Plum for Composure

A calm mind can fuel rational thinking, so stay cool and don’t lose control. The positive potential of Cherry Plum is a keeping a serene mind and being able to think and act rationally.
